Description
Tuff Country # 97032 block kit include lift blocks and ubolts designed to raise the rear of your Chevy Silverado 1500. Installation is done by inserting the cast lift blocks between the factory rear leaf springs and axle. Extended zinc plated rear ubolts designed specifically for the Chevy Silverado 1500 are use to replace the factory ubolts.

Looking to lift the rear of 2006 Chev Silverado 1500 4x4. Rear stock blocks are 2" not 1½" and are not tapered. Trying to determine which one to order so everything is correct - 2005 tapered blocks TUFF COUNTRY #97030 or 2006 non-tapered blocks TUFF COUNTRY #97032? VIN #1GCEK19B56Z290301. I believe I need the tapered block to keep the drive angle more correct but would love your expertise. Thanks, looking forward to ordering from you.

Great question. You will actually want to look at what style of factory block you have on your Silverado. In 2006 the blocks changed to style that slightly wraps on the ends of the block. If you look at the images of both kits you can see the difference. This will determine which kit will work on you truck.
