Customer Questions & Answers

The product says it wont rust but I have had experience where these do. Can you tell me if I am going to face the same?
This hitch is a steel product that has been coated with a baked on power coating to help resist rust. The powder coating will provide great protection against rust, but with the hitches mounting point under the vehicle it is susceptible to rock chips that will chip the coating and expose the bare metal to the elements. If left untreated the rusty chips will eventually allow the rust to creep under the coating and spread.
