Curt MFG #13144 how low & how much does it stick out the back of the car. What is the difference with the hidden version. Is there any pictures of the two types mounted on the forester Subaru 2015 ?
Answer:
Thanks for the question. Curt mfg Has manufactured this hitch to fit up as tight as possible for this application. The only photo I could see of this hitch was in their instructions, which can be view from the link in our tech specs section of this listing. As far as I can tell the cross bar and receiver will be visible when behind the vehicle.

Easy install, looks great
Easy install. Since my Subaru was only a few months old it was easier to unbolt the muffler than to drop it out of the way. Also I used a stepper drill to enlarge the hole, rather than a die grinder. Everything went together easy. Final installation is unobtrusive under the bumper, yet bike rack and trailer hitches fit well. I recommend this product. Shipping was very fast.
