Toyota first introduced the Tundra in 1999 to replaced the moderately successful T100 truck. Originally built to compete with other midsize trucks like the Ranger and Dakota, the Tundra more than held its own. In 2007 Toyota fired a shot directly at the big boys in Detroit with a redesigned full-size version of the Tundra. The 2007-current Tundra now competes directly with other 1/2 ton models like the Ford F150 and Chevy Silverado 1500. Toyota Tundra Suspension:The 1999-2006 & 2007-2011 Toyota Tundra suspension uses an IFS front suspension and a rear leaf spring suspension. Utilizing a front coil spring / strut suspension similar to many modern trucks. Ride quality is very good with these trucks. Lift Kit Options:We offer many Toyota Tundra lift kits for both versions of the truck. 1" to 2.5" leveling kit for the front of the Tundra along with 2.5" to 6" Suspension Lift Kits. Because of the IFS front end ride quality stays nearly the same regardless of the size of lift. Bilstein shock absorbers are also available to upgrade your suspension.
