Description
Firestone Ride-Rite air bag helper springs are the work horse of the Firestone line. The double convoluted air bags offer maximum load support as well as years of worry-free service. These are installed between the frame of your vehicle and the suspension, providing load support through the use of air pressure. Specifically designed to maximize the safe load carrying capacity, add stability and improve ride quality while leveling your truck when towing or hauling a heavy load. Will also reduce the suspension fatigue on leaf springs caused by permanently sagging. An optional air control kit (air compressor kit) can be added (not required) for additional convenience.

What is the difference between the kit #2491 and #2158 kits?? I currently have one of your systems on my 2011 Dodge 2500 4x4 and love it. It has a "handheld" control for airing or deflating the system on the rear.... do either of these offer that held hand controller?? It IS the ultimate convenience and efficiency! I am in the process of purchasing a new 2015 Dodge 2500 4x4... and would like to purchase one of these kits. Can you give me an idea of approximate install costs?? I live in Frisco, Texas (Dallas) do you have a local install location near this area.... Thank you, Tommy Briscoe
Answer:
Thank you for the question. While the 2491 is a digital and the 2158 is an analog control system, neither of these systems are hand held control. Take a look at the air lift 25870 Wireless one for single control operation or the 72000 Wireless air remote for individual bag control. Both will work with the Firestone systems.

Excellent quality kit!
Super easy install! Instructions are pretty worthless. I thought for sure I would be doing some drilling in the jounce pad from others reviews but this was simply not the case
