Description

Wanting a little more height out of your Chevy Silverado 1500 for larger tires and a more aggressive look? This 2" Lift Kit by Tuff Country is a great solution. Included are front replacement torsion bar keys and rear add-a-leafs along with all required hardware. The torsion bar keys reindex the factory torsion bars which lifts the truck without "cranking up" the factory torsion bars. Once installed this lift kit will keep the "Factory Rake", with the front end being slightly lower than the rear.

At Suspension Connection we are the #1 retailer of Tuff Country products in the world. Great prices, expert knowledge and exceptional customer service are why so many customers trust us with their Tuff Country purchases. Try us out!

Tuff Country has been producing quality suspension products for over 25 years and backs all lift kits with a limited lifetime warranty. image

overall good kit
I did the install myself with a couple of buddies. we had trouble getting the keys to release from the tortion bar and had to heat it uo with a torch. the rear went on smoothly and i havnt had a problem yet i love the look i have now but im thinking of adding another 2 inch body lift i kept my exsisting shocks on and they seem to be working fine the ride is a little rougher but you can bearly tell i go mudding and off-roading with it all the time and it holds up to it all

nice lift kit
Installation was pretty simple, took about 4 hour to complete the front and rear. Ride is a little stiffer, but overall very happy.

Great budget upgrade; not "too tall"
I didn't want my truck jacked up to the sky, but I wanted bigger tires. With 285's on it, there is still some rubbing up front. I do have some negative offset wheels, so that may be an issue? In any case, solid lift. You could definitely tell that it sits visibly higher (way more fender space with stock tires) and when you climb in, it's noticeably higher. This is a good amount of lift to keep people guessing. Did he modify it or not? I like the fact that it's not towering over everything on the road, yet more capable than stock.
