Wanting a little more height out of your Chevy Silverado 1500 for larger tires and a more aggressive look? This 2" Lift Kit by Tuff Country is a great solution. Included are front replacement torsion bar keys and rear add-a-leafs along with all required hardware. The torsion bar keys reindex the factory torsion bars which lifts the truck without "cranking up" the factory torsion bars. Once installed this lift kit will keep the "Factory Rake", with the front end being slightly lower than the rear.

At Suspension Connection we are the #1 retailer of Tuff Country products in the world. Great prices, expert knowledge and exceptional customer service are why so many customers trust us with their Tuff Country purchases. Try us out!

Tuff Country has been producing quality suspension products for over 25 years and backs all lift kits with a limited lifetime warranty. image

I have a 98 Chevy Cheyenne 1500 4x4 need to know if it will fit my truck and also if it does if it will fit 33x12.50 r 15s tires thank you for your time hope to hear from you all soon thank you
Actually you would need this kit, Tuff Country 12933 for the 1998-1998 models. Tuff Country recommends only up a 31 inch tire. 33 inch would be a little tight.
I have a leveling kit already I have 34 on it now but need clearence is this lift enoughand I need to but new shocks with this as we'll
Tuff Country Suggests a 6" lift to fit that large of a tires with out any rubbing or trimming of the fenders. here is a link for that kit 16955.
Are front shock extension brackets needed for a 2006 chevy 1500 silverado?
Thank you for the question. Yes, new shock are recommended for this kit.
Will 33 inch tires fit on a 2006 chevy 1500 silverado with item 12923
No, that tire will be to tight with only 2" of lift. You will need the 14955 kit to clear the 33 x 12.50 tires properly.

overall good kit
I did the install myself with a couple of buddies. we had trouble getting the keys to release from the tortion bar and had to heat it uo with a torch. the rear went on smoothly and i havnt had a problem yet i love the look i have now but im thinking of adding another 2 inch body lift i kept my exsisting shocks on and they seem to be working fine the ride is a little rougher but you can bearly tell i go mudding and off-roading with it all the time and it holds up to it all

Great budget upgrade; not "too tall"
I didn't want my truck jacked up to the sky, but I wanted bigger tires. With 285's on it, there is still some rubbing up front. I do have some negative offset wheels, so that may be an issue? In any case, solid lift. You could definitely tell that it sits visibly higher (way more fender space with stock tires) and when you climb in, it's noticeably higher. This is a good amount of lift to keep people guessing. Did he modify it or not? I like the fact that it's not towering over everything on the road, yet more capable than stock.
